Founded in 1915, Women’s Christian College is a renowned institution located in Tamil Nadu. Admissions at Women’s Christian College (WCC) strictly adhere to the guidelines provided by the Tamil Nadu government. According to the official notification, the college does not sell application forms on campus, and the entire admission process is conducted online. WCC is an autonomous institution affiliated with the University of Madras (UNOM). The college boasts a wide range of academic departments, offering a total of 45 undergraduate and postgraduate programs categorized as Government-Aided (GA) and Self-Financed (SF). Currently, the institute educates more than 4,200 students and employs 209 faculty members. Admission to Women’s Christian College Chennai is based on merit, ensuring a fair selection process for prospective students.
Placements
As per recent media reports, the Women’s Christian College placements for the year 2023 have seen a successful placement of 78 students. The salary packages offered to these students ranged from INR 4.30 LPA to INR 8.5 LPA. The campus welcomed a total of eight companies for the Women’s Christian College placements in 2023.
In the past, Women’s Christian College, Chennai has maintained a dedicated placements cell that actively organizes job recruitment drives and provides career-oriented training sessions.
