The VSM Institute of Aerospace Engineering and Technology, located in Bangalore, was established in 1995 as a self-financed college. The institute is affiliated with Karnataka State Open University and holds approval from the All India Council for Teacher Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Offering both a four-year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree and a three-year Diploma course in Engineering, the college caters to students’ academic aspirations.
Being the only Aerospace Engineering Training Centre in Bangalore, a prominent hub for the aerospace industry in India, the institute is strategically positioned to provide highly educated and skilled professionals to meet the demands of this field. The primary objective of the college is to deliver high-quality, computer-oriented, and hi-tech education in general and professional streams, ensuring students are well-prepared for their future careers.

Placements
The College offers placements to numerous graduates in their respective fields, including opportunities with multiple airline companies. Prior to graduation, the Institute facilitates a training period lasting 6 months, during which the interns receive a stipend.
This training period provides valuable exposure to real-time avionics experience, helping the interns gain practical skills and knowledge in their chosen field.
