Admissions
The eligibility criteria for admission to the Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S.) course are as follows:
a) Candidates must have successfully completed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. They should have obtained a minimum of fifty percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined for general category students, and forty percent marks for students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes. However, candidates with disabilities specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, must have achieved a minimum of forty-five percent marks. For General category students, the qualifying mark is forty percent for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.
b) Candidates who have studied Biology or Biotechnology as an additional subject at the 10+2 level will not be considered eligible for admission.
c) Candidates who have completed their 10+2 education from an open school or as private candidates are not eligible to apply or appear for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test.
To be eligible for admission, candidates must have successfully completed the B.H.M.S. Degree Course or an equivalent qualification. Additionally, they must have achieved the minimum eligibility percentile required in the AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test).
