Admissions
To be eligible for writing the examination, students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in both theory and practical classes for each subject. Additionally, they are required to undergo a minimum of 3 internal examinations and complete 2 assignments for each subject. The average of these assessments will be considered for internal evaluation.
For appearing in the examination, students must maintain a minimum of 80% attendance separately in theory and practical/clinical classes for each subject in every academic year. Moreover, 100% attendance is mandatory in each practical area before being eligible for the degree award. The attendance calculation will be based on each academic year as a unit.
Candidates seeking eligibility for GNM must possess a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and be a registered nurse. Additionally, they should have passed the pre-university examination in arts/science/commerce conducted by the Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka State, or an equivalent qualification recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Proficiency in English, good medical fitness, and a commendable personal and professional record are also required. Candidates from the year of admission shall be deemed eligible.
