Admissions
United Institute of Technology (UIT), located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, offers admissions in engineering courses at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The Training and Placement Cell focuses on equipping students with the necessary skills to excel in the corporate world. The primary objective of the Placement Cell is to ensure that every student at the United Institute of Technology has access to placement opportunities.
The Placement Cell follows a three-stage training process that helps students build confidence for interviews. The comprehensive training modules offered by the Placement Cell cover various aspects such as Presentation Skills, Listening Skills, Creativity, Verbal Reasoning, Speed Mathematics, Personal Grooming, and Team Building.
Regular sessions on Group Discussion, Aptitude Tests, and Soft Skills are conducted by the Placement Cell to prepare students for the final placement round. The UIT Coimbatore campus invites several multinational companies to offer placement opportunities to students. In the 2018 Placement Season, approximately 215 students from various branches secured placements in esteemed companies such as IDBI Federal Bank, Amazon, HGS, Allsec Technologies, Exterro, and Mphasis.
