Admissions
To be eligible for admission, candidates must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. For admission to BE/B.Tech programs, candidates will be shortlisted based on their marks in the 10+2 examination, followed by TNEA counseling. In the case of admission to B.Arch, a NATA score is mandatory.
For postgraduate programs, the minimum eligibility criteria include:
- A recognized Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in the relevant field, with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to reserved categories) in the qualifying degree examination.
- Successful completion of a recognized Bachelor’s degree with a minimum duration of 3 years, and obtaining at least 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to reserved categories) in the qualifying degree examination.

The training program is designed to begin in the first semester with a focus on Communication Skills, followed by a Personality Development Program in the second semester. Throughout the second and third years, students receive training in the latest technologies and have the opportunity to earn at least two certifications. During the final year, students undergo intensive placement training to ensure a successful launch into their careers.
To further bridge the gap between academia and industry, the department has established MOUs with leading companies for Industry-Institute Collaboration.
