Admissions
SVS College of Engineering (SVSCE) is an affiliated institution of Anna University, and it strictly adheres to the admission guidelines established by the university.
The college offers various courses such as B.E, M.E, and Ph.D. for aspiring students. The admission process may involve entrance exams and/or merit-based selection followed by state counseling. Interested candidates can access the application forms for entrance exams through the respective official websites.
For admission to the B.E program, applicants must have completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from Tamil Nadu. The selection is done through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) process, primarily based on merit.
M.E admissions are open to students who have qualified in either the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% in their B.E/B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline. The applications for M.E admissions and counseling are accepted through the Tamil Nadu Common Admissions (TANCA) process.
Ph.D. admissions are based on the scores obtained in the UGC-NET/JRF exam, followed by an interview for direct admission. Students who are not qualified in the UGC-NET/JRF exam are required to appear for an internal test based on their scores in M.E/M.Tech.
