Course, Fees and Eligibility
Admissions
The application form for the B.Ed. and M.Ed. courses can be obtained online for download and submission through postal mail or in person. For admission to the M.Phil. and PhD courses, candidates are required to collect the application form in person or download it from the website of Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University and submit it through postal mail.
To be eligible for admission to the B.Ed. course, students must have completed a Graduation Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. For the M.Ed. program, the minimum eligibility requirement is a B.Ed. Degree from a recognized University. Candidates who have completed a Master’s Degree in Education or hold an M.Ed. Degree are eligible to apply for admission to the M.Phil. course.
For the PhD course, candidates must have an MA in Education, an M.Ed. Degree with a minimum of 55% marks, or a Masters in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Admission to the B.Ed. and M.Ed. courses is granted through a centralized counseling process conducted by the Department of Higher Education, Tamil Nadu, based on the merit in the qualifying examination. Admission to the PhD and M.Phil. courses is determined in accordance with the instructions provided by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University.
