St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, a renowned institute located in Karnataka, was established in 1972. The college offers a wide range of programs that cater to the students’ preferences. Admissions

Stating in February each year, the admission process for all UG and PG programmes begins. Admission to the BCom programme is based on merit. On the other hand, candidates who aspire to join the BBA programme are required to appear for SMAT followed by GD and Interview. Those interested in the MCom programme must appear for the SPGAT exam, followed by an interview. For PGDM admissions, merit is the sole basis for selection. Moreover, admissions are also granted under the Sports Quota to candidates who have displayed outstanding performance in sports.

At the postgraduate level, the college provides two programs, namely MCom and PGD. To secure admission in the MCom program, the candidate must clear the SPGAT exam and pass the interview round. In contrast, admissions to the PGDM program are based on the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination.

Placements

St. Joseph’s College of Commerce extends placement and professional support to its students both on and off-campus. The Training Cell is responsible for organizing skill development sessions, while the pre-placement activities aid students in preparing for the internship programs and campus placements.

The college’s placement system is designed to assist and guide students in making informed career choices and securing placements. The internship programs are aimed at providing practical exposure to students and allowing them to apply their classroom learning in a real-world setting.
