Course, Fees and Eligibility
Admissions
Admission to the MBA program at SSN School of Management is conducted through two categories: the government quota (GQ) and the management quota (MQ). While the fees structure remains the same for both categories, the admission processes differ.
Under the government quota, candidates are allotted seats based solely on their performance in the TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test). On the other hand, for admission through the management quota, candidates are evaluated using various other entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, TANCET, or any other state-level admission tests.
Please note that the selection process for each quota is distinct, but the fees structure for the MBA program remains consistent.
Placements
SSN School of Management has a dedicated training and placement cell responsible for managing all placement-related activities, including internships. The placement cell at SSN SOM conducts various training programs to prepare students for their final interviews. These programs cover essential skills such as communication, soft skills, group discussions, aptitude, and mock interviews. During the SSN campus recruitment drive, students are offered job opportunities in a wide range of industries, including IT, Banks & Financial Services, and FMCG.
The MBA placement report for the 2020-2022 batch has been released by SSN School of Management. In this batch, out of 112 students, 107 students were successfully placed, resulting in an impressive placement percentage of 95%. The placement drive witnessed the participation of 21 new recruiters. The highest salary package offered stood at Rs 10 LPA, while the average salary package and median salary package were recorded at Rs 6.36 LPA and Rs 5.8 LPA, respectively.
Several renowned companies participated in the SSN placement process, including TCS, Mindtree, Temenos, Kaar, Pon Pure Chemicals Group, Ford, Federal Bank, Hffc, Neeyamc, Zoho, HDFC Bank, Consulting and Beyond, CAMS, HCL, Deloitte, and many more. Additionally, SSN School of Management successfully completed its 22nd batch of summer internship programs for MBA students, providing valuable industry exposure and experience.
