Admissions
Candidates applying for admission to the first year of the four-year B.E. Degree program in engineering must meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
The candidates should have successfully completed the 12th (intermediate) examination or its equivalent from a government-recognized board. They should have studied Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as their main subjects. The required percentage for eligibility is 50% for general candidates, 45% for backward classes (including Muslim candidates), 40% for MBC & DNC, and 35% for SC/ST/SCA candidates.
Alternatively, candidates who have passed the Diploma in Engineering from the State Board of Technical Education and Training Tamil Nadu or its equivalent are also eligible to apply.
