Admissions
For admission to undergraduate programs, candidates are required to have passed the PUC/12th standard examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (taken together), and should have also passed English as one of the subjects. Additionally, eligibility for the NEET examination is mandatory for all candidates.
The allocation of seats is done based on merit selection, which is determined through the Common Entrance Test (KRLMPCET) followed by centralized counseling. Furthermore, 15% of the total intake is reserved for the NRI/Foreigner category, and the selection for these seats is also based on merit.
Candidates aspiring to pursue PG programs should have successfully completed the M.B.B.S degree examination from a recognized Medical College affiliated with any university recognized by the MCI (Medical Council of India). Additionally, they must have completed a one-year compulsory rotating internship in a teaching institution recognized by the MCI and have registered their M.B.B.S degree with the respective State Medical Council.
The selection of candidates for postgraduate degree/diploma courses is based on the merit list of the entrance examinations, such as PGET conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and KRLMPCET. Admission decisions are made based on the candidates’ ranking in these entrance examinations.
