Established in 1999, SVCET (Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology) is located in Thirupachur. It is an approved institution by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in New Delhi and is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. Admissions
Applicants interested in BE/B.Tech courses must have successfully completed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 55% aggregate for general category, 50% for BC category, 45% for MBC category, and a passing grade for SC/ST category. The subjects required for eligibility are science subjects (PCM). Diploma holders who wish to apply for direct admission into the second year of BE/B.Tech courses must have obtained the aforementioned aggregate marks in the final semester of their diploma program.
Candidates who have graduated from any recognized university/college and have studied mathematics as one of the main subjects at either the UG or HSC level are eligible to apply for the MCA course. Graduates in relevant subjects are eligible for admission into the MBA/ME courses.
