Admissions
The course duration is 2 years. To be eligible, candidates must have successfully completed their undergraduate degree examination in any of the following disciplines: English, Tamil, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, and History. Additionally, candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in part-III (Main + Allied) of the Bachelor Degree Course. For OBC, MBC, and physically challenged candidates, the minimum required mark is 40%. Similarly, SC and ST candidates also require a minimum of 40% marks. There is no age limit for admission to the B.Ed. Course. If candidates have studied more than one main subject in part III (Double or Triple major) during their undergraduate degree, they will be eligible for admission to any one of the main subjects.
