Sri Venkataramana Swamy College in Bantwal was established in 1968 by Bantwal Raghuram Mukunda Prabhu with the assistance of philanthropists, embodying the motto ‘Vidya Sarvartha Sadhake.’ Being the first center for higher education in the taluk, it holds the distinction of being the most advanced college in the entire region. Surrounded by peaceful hills, the college is situated away from the noise and commotion of city life. A dedicated group of teachers, guided by a visionary Board of Management, provides affordable and high-quality education to rural students who approach learning with humility and enthusiasm. Admissions
BCA: To be eligible for BCA, students must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in their 10+2 examination in any relevant stream, with English as a compulsory subject.
B.Sc: For admission to B.Sc, students should have successfully passed their class XII examination from a recognized Board in the Science stream, with an aggregate score ranging from 50% to 60%.
BA: Candidates applying for BA must have cleared their class XII examination from a recognized Board.
B.Com: To qualify for B.Com, students should have cleared their class XII examination from a recognized Board in the commerce stream, with an aggregate score ranging from 50% to 60%.
M.Com: For admission to M.Com, a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in B.Com, BBA (any stream), or BA Economics from a recognized university is required.
