Sri Ganesh College-SGC was established in 2004 and is approved by and affiliated with Periyar University. The college is located in Salem, Tamil Nadu, and is easily accessible by rail or road.

Course, Fees and Eligibility
Admissions
Undergraduate degrees include Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor in Computer Application (B.C.A.), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), and Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.). Postgraduate degrees include Master of Arts (M.A.), Master of Science (M.Sc.), and Master of Commerce (M.Com.).
To be eligible for an undergraduate degree, students must have passed the 12th level and in the relevant subject they are applying for. Any equivalent course affiliated to Periyar University is also accepted. To be eligible for a postgraduate degree, students must have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject they are applying for.
Placements
The school is committed to providing students with placement opportunities. To this end, the school has established a placement office that conducts regular training sessions to help students develop the skills they need to be successful in the job market. The office also organizes industrial tours to give students exposure to different industries and to help them build their networks.
The placement office offers training on a variety of topics, including communication skills, negotiation skills, critical reasoning skills, self-image, right attitude and motivation, goal setting, resume writing, and mock interviews. The office also invites companies to campus to conduct on-campus interviews, group discussions, and personal interviews.
Students who participate in the placement process are given an offer of placement based on their performance. Students who are placed join the company after completing their coursework and passing their final exams.
