Course, Fees and Eligibility
Admissions
Admission to the B.Sc. degree course in Nursing (Basic) requires candidates to have successfully passed the qualifying examinations in the Academic Stream after completing their 12th standard education. The subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology) are mandatory for eligibility.
Prior to admission, every candidate must provide the institution’s principal with a certificate of medical fitness issued by an authorized Medical Officer. This certificate verifies that the candidate is physically fit to undertake the academic course.
Both male and female candidates who are unmarried and have reached the age of 17 years at the time of admission are eligible to apply.
To be eligible for admission to the M.Sc. Nursing program, candidates must have completed a B.Sc. Nursing degree.
Candidates should also be registered with the state registration council of Nursing and Midwifery in Tamil Nadu.
B.Sc. Nursing graduates are required to have at least one year of experience in a hospital or a Community Health Program after their graduation.
In the case of male candidates, they should have completed any other course recommended by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of Midwifery.
Candidates must ensure that they have completed the admissions process on or before the specific date provided by the University.
