Admissions
Upon verification, the original documents, including the mark sheet of the qualifying examination and certificate of the matriculation exam, will be promptly returned to the candidates. However, the university will retain attested photocopies of these documents for record-keeping purposes. Once a candidate is selected for admission, it is mandatory to make the necessary payment at the time of admission. The payment can be made through a demand draft (in favor of Sakthi Mariamman Engineering College – SMEC), net-banking, or cash. The candidate should ensure to write their name, admission form number, and the name of the applied course on the reverse side of the Demand Draft. It is advisable for candidates to retain a photocopy of the demand draft for their personal records.
