The S.A. College of Arts & Science, named after Sakunthala Ammal, is sponsored by the Dharma Naidu Educational & Charitable Trust and was established in 1992. The college offers nine undergraduate courses that are affiliated with the University of Madras.

Admission to these courses is based on the candidate’s performance in their previous qualifying examination. The minimum requirement for admission to the Bachelor’s degree courses is a successful completion of 10+2 or an equivalent qualification.
