Established in 1992 as the Department of Architecture in R.V. College of Engineering (RVCE), Bengaluru, R.V. College of Architecture (RVCA) shifted to a new campus in 2014 and is now affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Karnataka. Recognized as a center for Continuing Education Programme by the Council of Architecture, Quality Improvement Programme by COA, and Research by VTU, RVCA was selected as one of the top four schools in India to showcase Indian architectural education to a delegation of Singapore government in April 2006. It has been recognized by Practicing Professionals as one of the best schools in South India, and rated as the best architecture college in Bengaluru by architects Shahrukh and Renu Mistry. The college has also conducted student and faculty exchange programs with the University of Muenster, Germany, and Moratuwa University, Sri Lanka.

Admissions
