Admissions
RNS Institute of Technology provides admission opportunities for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. RNSIT Bangalore offers admission to various courses, including B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech, M.B.A, and M.C.A. Admission to the B.E/B.Tech courses at RNSIT Bangalore is granted through the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Undergraduate Entrance Test (COMEDK-UGET). For M.E/M.Tech admissions, candidates’ scores in either the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) or GATE are considered. As for the M.B.A program at RNSIT Bangalore, applicants must possess a valid score in the MAT/PGCET examination to be eligible for admission.
Placements
RNS Institute of Technology’s Training and Placement Cell plays a crucial role in assisting students with job placements. At RNSIT Bangalore, the placement process involves a series of steps. This includes sending invitations to recruiters, hosting pre-placement talks by companies on campus, conducting various selection rounds like written tests, group discussions (GD), and personal interviews (PI), and finally extending job offers to the selected candidates. To enhance students’ employability, the Training and Placement Cell at RNSIT Bangalore provides specialized training in mathematical ability, aptitude skills, analytical abilities, language skills, and technical expertise. Additionally, RNSIT Bangalore has a Liaison office dedicated to assisting students in various aspects such as human resources, placements, training, corporate interactions, internal IT, and entrepreneurship development.
According to the RNSIT Bangalore NIRF Placement Report for 2023, out of 798 eligible students, 682 undergraduate (4-year) students were successfully placed with a median salary of Rs. 5,50,000. Additionally, 30 students chose to pursue higher education instead of immediate placements.
