Course, Fees and Eligibility
Admissions
Ranganathan Engineering College (REC) offers various programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The undergraduate programs include B.E and B.Tech, while the postgraduate programs include MBA and M.E.
For admission to the B.E and B.Tech programs, candidates must have successfully completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks. The selection of candidates for these programs is based on their TNEA score. Admissions are granted through the TNEA counselling process.
REC also provides an MBA program with a total intake of 60 seats. Candidates who have completed a graduate program in any discipline are eligible for admission to the MBA program.
The M.E program at REC offers four different electives. Aspiring candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in their Bachelor’s degree examination in the relevant field. Admission to the M.E program is based on the TANCET counselling conducted by Ranganathan Engineering College.
