Course, Fees and Eligibility
Admissions
To be eligible for admission to the B.Ed. course, candidates must have successfully completed the UG Degree examination in the 10+2+3 stream, with the same main subject in Part III that they intend to pursue in the B.Ed. program.
In cases where candidates have studied multiple main subjects in Part III (Double or Triple major) during their UG degree, they must select only one of the main subjects and apply for the corresponding optional in the B.Ed. course.
Candidates who have completed their UG degree in Applied Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Applied Physics are eligible to apply for the Chemistry and Physics optional, respectively, in the B.Ed. program. Similarly, those who have studied Environmental Science and Microbiology during their UG degree can apply for the Biology optional in the B.Ed. course.
To qualify for admission to the Master of Education program, candidates must have successfully completed a Bachelor’s Degree Examination in Education from either this University or another institution recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent. The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in both theory and practical examinations separately.
The selection of candidates for admission will be determined in accordance with the existing regulations set by the university and the Government of Tamil Nadu.
