Established in 2009, Raak Arts and Science College is affiliated with Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore, under the government of Tamil Nadu. Our college commenced its journey with five undergraduate courses and an initial intake of 180 students. Over time, we have expanded our offerings and currently provide a diverse range of 11 undergraduate courses, three postgraduate courses, and two Ph.D. programs, catering to an overall student strength of approximately 1500. Our primary goal is to produce graduates in various disciplines, instilling strong moral values and discipline, and providing quality education to shape them into well-rounded individuals capable of confidently facing the challenges of the world. We are committed to nurturing their growth, enabling them to lead successful lives and contribute towards building a better society.

The Training and Placement Cell at our college caters to the requirements of professionals by inviting companies from various fields of Arts and Science. It facilitates industrial visits and provides industrial training during vacations. Additionally, the cell organizes interviews, equips students with job market information, and offers valuable guidance to help them excel in interviews. Moreover, the department arranges guest lectures to enhance the students’ knowledge. Recognizing the growing significance of soft skills in today’s competitive world, the department begins imparting soft skills training to students from their first year itself. In addition to regular subjects, dedicated sessions are allocated to each branch, focusing on aptitude, verbal skills, and overall soft skills development.
