Admissions
Established in 1963, RV College of Engineering is an autonomous institute affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). The admission procedure for RV College of Engineering is dependent on the course and quota, with both Merit and Management quotas being available. The college provides courses in B.E, MCA, and M.Tec
RV College of Engineering provides 12 engineering courses, and to apply for B.E under the management quota, students must meet the eligibility criteria. To be eligible, students should have taken common entrance exams like JEE, COMEDK or KCET in 2022. The seat allocation for B.E courses is as follows: 45% of the total seats are reserved for the government quota, 30% for the private quota, and the remaining 25% are filled under the management quota.
The seat allocation for M.Tech and MCA courses is as follows: 20% of the total seats are reserved for the government quota, while the remaining 80% of seats are filled under the management quota.
