Established in 2008, the Prin LN Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Bangalore, is commonly referred to as Welingkar Bangalore or WeSchool Bangalore. It operates under the trust of Shikshana Prasaraka Mandali, Pune.
The institute offers a diverse range of postgraduate programs in management, including PGDM, PGDM Business Design & Innovation, PGDM Research & Business Analytics, and PGDM E-Business. All these courses are approved by the prestigious All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Notably, the PGDM E-Business and PGDM programs at WeSchool Bangalore have received accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

Admissions
To be eligible for admission to the PGDM program, candidates are required to hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks. The selection process for PGDM courses involves National Level Entrance examinations such as CAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, GMAT, or MAH CET.
Based on their entrance examination scores, candidates will be shortlisted for the subsequent rounds of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). These rounds play a significant role in the final selection process for the PGDM program.
Placements
The Career Management Center (CMC) at Welingkar Bangalore plays a crucial role in guiding students throughout their academic journey, starting from their induction and orientation to mid-term projects, summer internships, and ultimately, their final placements and beyond. By implementing a range of academic and non-academic initiatives, the CMC ensures that students are well-prepared to meet the diverse requirements of the industry.
In 2021-23, the institute launched its placement drive, attracting esteemed recruiters such as Accenture, ACT Fibrenet, Deloitte, Digit Insurance, Dell, Hevodata, ICICI Bank, Indegene, ICICI Securities, Oracle Technologies, Wildcraft, Wipro, and more. The placements achieved impressive results, with the highest salary reaching INR 17.85 LPA and an attractive average salary of INR 10.52 LPA.
