The B.Tech. program spans four years, comprising of two semesters per academic year, with the possibility of some courses being offered during the summer term.
The initial year of the program focuses on establishing a strong groundwork through foundational courses in humanities, sciences, mathematics, and engineering sciences. From the second year onward, students delve into core courses specific to their chosen discipline. As students progress to the third year, they have the opportunity to select elective courses that align with their interests and aspirations. Course, Fees and Eligibility
Admissions
To be eligible for admission, applicants must have passed the Pre-University/Higher Secondary/10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with either Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Electronics, or Computer.
Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the aforementioned subjects combined (40% for candidates belonging to Reserved Category). However, for SC/ST, Category-1, and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B) category students from Karnataka, the minimum eligibility marks are 40%.
For candidates seeking admission based on a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc) in the relevant field from any Indian or Foreign University recognized by UGC, they must have achieved a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates).
