Presidency College embarked on its journey on October 15, 1840, initially as a preparatory school located in a leased building called Edinburgh Home in Egmore. Presidency College is affiliated with Madras University and holds accreditation from NAAC with a Grade B++ and a score of 2.58. Admissions
