PES University Bangalore, also known as PESU Bangalore, was founded in 1972 in Karnataka’s capital city, Bangalore. Formerly known as PES Institute of Technology, the university specializes in five primary areas of study: Engineering, Management, Law, Medicine, and Life Sciences. The university encompasses four campuses: PESU Ring Road (RR), PESU Electronic City (EC), PESU Hanumanthanagar (HN), and PESU Medical Campus. It also includes PES Polytechnic, PES PU College, Amaatra Academy, and PES Public School. The PES Polytechnic provides a broad range of Diploma courses in Engineering. PES University is nationally recognized as one of the top 100 BTech colleges in India, according to the NIRF 2022 rankings. Additionally, it is ranked 77 among all universities in the country by the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF 2023) and 27th in the South Indian region. Course, Fees and Eligibility
Admissions
PES University, located in Bangalore, has opened its registrations for the B.Tech program via PESSAT 2023 until May 10, 2023, for non-Bengaluru candidates, and until May 20, 2023, for Bengaluru candidates. The registrations for CLAT 2023 are open until November 13. Candidates interested in the B.Arch program must upload their NATA and 12th std / 2nd PU scores online until July 2023. For other courses, candidates can apply until July 2023. EMBA registration for PESSAT 2023 will begin in December. Candidates can apply online through the university’s official website – pes.edu. PES BTech admissions are conducted through KCET 2023. The notification for KCET registration is expected to be released in the first week of February on the official website. The ongoing PES University Admission 2023 for BTech through KCET Counselling has released the KCET 2022 round 2 seat allotment result. Selected candidates can pay the admission fee between December 1 and December 2, and the last date to report at the campus for candidates selected in round 2 is December 3.
Placements
In 2020, PES University recorded 1185 job offers and placed 605 undergraduate and 31 postgraduate students through its placement program. The highest salary offered to a B.Tech student was INR 49.75 LPA. For the 2021 placement program, PES University has shifted to an e-hiring process due to the pandemic. AppDynamics Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. became the first company to recruit students through this process, as per a press release by the university.
