Admissions
To secure admission at Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Government Arts College, candidates must fulfill certain eligibility criteria. Prospective students are required to have successfully completed their 10+2 education. Additionally, for certain courses, such as those related to science and engineering, candidates should have completed their 10+2 education with a combination of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM subjects). Placements
They organize a range of programs to facilitate job placements and opportunities, although internships are not currently offered. In terms of personal experience, I found it to be satisfactory, but it’s worth noting that internships are exclusively available at Pondicherry University. Efforts are underway to establish an internship program here as well. Unfortunately, the overall placement situation at my college was subpar. It would be beneficial if the management could establish a dedicated placement cell committee to assist students. Only a small percentage of students secured positions in management sector jobs, with an average monthly salary of ten thousand rupees.
