Admissions
Bachelor’s Degree: Candidates should have completed a Bachelor’s Degree program following the 11+1+3 or 10+2+3 pattern of study, or a five-year integrated master’s degree program under the 10+2+5 pattern. Alternatively, candidates with a four-year bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology following the 11+1+4 or 10+2+4 pattern are also eligible. In the case of engineering/technology programs, candidates must have studied Mathematics and Science in both their higher secondary education and engineering/technology programs.
Minimum Marks: Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Part III (Main + Allied) of their Bachelor’s Degree. For candidates belonging to OBC, EBC, MBC, SC, BT, and physically challenged categories, the minimum required marks are 40%. In the case of engineering/technology programs, candidates should have secured a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC candidates).
No Age Limit: There is no age limit imposed for the B.Ed. program.
Territory Eligibility: Only candidates from the Union Territory of Puducherry are eligible to apply for the program.
Consideration of Neighboring State Candidates: In case of available vacant seats after admitting UT candidates, students from neighboring states can apply. These candidates will be considered for admission by paying a nominal fee determined by the institution.
