NMIT (Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology) is an autonomous engineering college located in Bangalore, Karnataka. Established in 2001, NMIT is approved by AICTE and recognized by UGC. It is affiliated with VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University). The institute offers a wide range of courses including B.E. in 7 streams, M.Tech. in 8 specializations, research programs such as PhD, and other professional courses like MBA, MCA, and Polytechnic.
NMIT campus is situated in the Govindpura district, approximately 25 km away from Central Bengaluru, and covers an area of 23 acres. - Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Government of Karnataka, which fills 45% of the total intake seats.
- COMED-K test, also organized by the Karnataka Government, fills 30% of the total intake seats.
- Management quota, which accounts for 25% of the total intake seats.
- AICTE has approved an additional 15% of seats for foreign nationals/PIO/NRI students or those whose parents work in Gulf countries, in addition to the sanctioned intake.
