Admissions
Candidates who have successfully completed the two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in Karnataka or any other examination recognized as equivalent by Mangalore University are eligible for admission to these programs.
Admission to the first year of the MSW program is open to candidates who have completed their B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./BSW/BBM degree program from Mangalore University or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University. Preference will be given to candidates who have Social Science subjects as their optional/major, provided they have obtained a minimum of 45% in the optional/major subjects. However, this minimum requirement of 45% does not apply to SC/ST candidates and deputed candidates who have served in an approved institution for a minimum period of five years. • Candidates must also secure a minimum of 45% marks in the personality test and other tests for admission to the program.
Candidates must have successfully completed the three-year B.Com/B.B.M Degree Examination from Mangalore University or any other examination considered equivalent, provided they have obtained a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) excluding language subjects.
