Admissions
Applicants seeking admission to the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) can do so through either merit-based selection or entrance examination, depending on the program of their interest. For B.A. LL.B, MPP, LL.M, postgraduate, M.Phil, and Integrated PhD programs, applicants are selected based on their performance in the entrance examination. Conversely, for programs like MBL and PG Diploma, admission is based on merit.

The applicant will be required to register and choose the preferred program before providing personal details, such as their name, age, and guardian information. Additionally, the candidate will need to upload all necessary documents and pay the application fee via debit/credit cards or net banking. Placements
Renowned public and private organizations consistently recruit students from the National Law School of India University each year. The NIRF report for the academic year 2019-20 for NLSIU Bangalore indicates a high percentage of successful placements among undergraduate and postgraduate students. The report shows that 77 students from the UG 5-year courses were eligible for placement, with 56 of them securing positions in various organizations. Additionally, six students opted to pursue higher studies. According to the placement statistics for 2019-20, the median salary offered to UG 5-year program students was Rs. 15,00,000 per annum. Moreover, 16 students from the PG 1-year courses were also placed during the same year.
