The National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM) in Bengaluru is a prominent institution and hospital dedicated to research and training in Unani medicine in India. The clinical services offered cater to various health needs, including Musculoskeletal, Skin and Cosmetology, Gastrointestinal, Hepato-biliary, Neurological, Psychiatric, Geriatric, and Lifestyle disorders. Patients also receive valuable advice on nutritional plans tailored to their specific conditions. Obstetrics and Gynecological disorders unit provide antenatal care and family planning services. Additionally, the hospital houses a well-established Regimenal therapy center, utilizing special non-pharmacological modalities such as Hijama, Dalk, Hammam, Nutool, and more in managing various disorders.

Admissions
The college presents a range of PG level programs, granting MS/MD degrees in eight distinct specializations. For those pursuing a Doctorate, the National Institute of Unani Medicine Bangalore offers a Ph.D. in Unani Medicine.
To be eligible for the MD and MS programs, applicants must possess a BUMS degree with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. The selection process relies on the NIUM PGET entrance examination.
As for Ph.D. admissions, candidates should have a postgraduate degree in MS/MD with a minimum aggregate of 60% in their chosen field of specialization. Ph.D. candidates are selected based on their performance in the entrance examination conducted by RGHUS, followed by counseling administered by NIUM.
