Admissions
Admissions to the BE, B.Tech, and ME programs at Narasu’s Sarathy Institute of Technology are based on entrance exams. There are specific eligibility criteria for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses. To apply for B.Tech admission at Narasu’s Sarathy Institute of Technology, students must have a minimum of 50% in their HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) examination. However, students from reserved categories are given a relaxation of 5% on their HSC marks. For the PG courses, students must obtain at least 60% marks in their BE/B.Tech degree. Reserved category students require a minimum of 50% marks in their B.Tech degree to be eligible for UG admission at NSIT Salem.
For UG courses, NSIT Salem accepts TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counseling, while for M.E. courses, admission is based on TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) exam scores. Additionally, admission to Narasu’s Sarathy Institute of Technology can also be secured through the management quota.
