Admissions
Admission to the first year or first semester of the Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology at this University is open to candidates who have successfully completed their second-year Pre-University or XII standard or an equivalent examination from a Board recognized by the University.
Additionally, the candidates should have obtained a minimum of forty-five percent (45%) aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics, along with any one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology, or Electronics. However, for SC/ST and OBC candidates from Karnataka, the minimum aggregate marks in optional subjects should be forty percent (40%). It is also mandatory for candidates to have studied and passed English as one of the subjects.
For admission to the Master of Business Administration course, all candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree of at least three years’ duration recognized by this University or any other examination considered equivalent.
The candidates are required to have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the prescribed qualifying examinations across all years of the degree program. However, for SC/ST and other groups classified by the Government of Karnataka, the minimum aggregate percentage required is 45%.
