Admissions
Mount Carmel College, Bangalore is an autonomous institution affiliated to Bangalore University that offers a wide range of courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The college is particularly renowned for its BCA and BBA programs, but also offers BA, B.Sc, and B.Com at the postgraduate level, and MA, M.Sc, MCA, and M.Com at the undergraduate level.
To apply for admission, candidates can download the application forms from the college’s website between June and July. Admission to B.Com and B.Voc courses is based on marks obtained in class 12, while for BA, B.Sc, and BCA, candidates will be shortlisted for an interview based on their class XII scores. Admission to M.Sc, MA, and M.Com courses is merit-based. B.Com, B.Voc, MCA, and Ph.D. admissions require candidates to clear a written test followed by a personal interview. The college conducts a separate written test (MCMAT), followed by GD and interview, for admission to the BBA program. Admission to PG Diploma and PG Diploma (Evening) programs is based on merit. The application fee for all UG and PG courses is INR 500 and INR 700, respectively.
