The Michael Job Memorial College of Education For Women (MJCOE) was founded in Coimbatore in 2004 by Dr. P. P. Job with the aim of training teachers to inspire and cultivate responsible individuals among young women. Affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), MJCOE has established itself as a distinguished institution, offering top-notch Bachelor of Education and Master of Education programs in the state. Emphasizing a holistic approach to the curriculum, MJCOE encourages diverse perspectives on teaching. The educational experience includes regular classes conducted by qualified professors, extracurricular activities, spoken English classes, debates, and discussions. These activities are supported by excellent infrastructure, including digital classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and digital learning centers. At MJCOE, we firmly believe in providing equal access to quality education for all individuals. To ensure that financial constraints do not hinder women from pursuing higher education, we are proud to offer financial aid to deserving and eligible students. Moreover, MJCOE is privileged to be one of the few institutions certified to admit University grant students. Admissions
B.Ed.
Candidates must have completed the undergraduate degree examination from a university recognized by the UGC, with a specialization in any subject offered by the Directorate of School Education at the Higher Secondary Education level.
M.Ed.
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in Education from this university or any other institution acknowledged by the Syndicate as equivalent.
