The KMCH College of Occupational Therapy in Coimbatore was established in 1995 under the Kovai Medical Center Research and Educational Trust. The college has received recognition from the Government of Tamil Nadu and is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in Chennai. It is a comprehensive teaching institution that is closely associated with the Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, a renowned multi-disciplinary super specialty hospital with 1300 beds.

Course, Fees and Eligibility
Admissions
For the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) program:
Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply. To be eligible, candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination or its equivalent, with the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Botany & Zoology. It’s important to note that candidates from vocational streams are not eligible for admission. Additionally, candidates should have completed 17 years of age by December 31st of the admission year.
For the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) program:
Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply. To be eligible, candidates should have completed the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (B.O.T) degree program from a recognized university.
Placements
Upon completion of the course, students at our college are provided with placement opportunities. Placements are offered based on the academic performance of the students, with a focus on those who have achieved a score of more than 85%. The salary offered varies depending on the respective companies, and there is potential for high-paying positions.
We also conduct campus interviews upon request from different associations. Specialists in various fields and study abroad programs visit our college to provide guidance and advice. The college actively engages with multiple recruiters to secure job opportunities for our students.
