Established in 2008, KGISL Institute of Technology (KITE) is a prestigious institute located in Tamil Nadu. Admissions
To be eligible for admission, candidates must have successfully completed the 12th (intermediate) examination or its equivalent from a government-recognized board. The subjects required are Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, and the minimum percentage required is 50% for general candidates, 45% for backward class including Muslim candidates, 40% for MBC & DNC candidates, and 35% for SC/ST/SCA candidates.
Candidates who have passed the Diploma in Engineering from the State Board of Technical Education and Training Tamil Nadu or its equivalent are also eligible for admission.

Candidates applying for the two-year M.E. course in engineering must have a pass in Engineering (any stream) from an institution recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Placements
Eligible students can participate in campus placements starting from the fifth semester. Renowned companies such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and others visit the campus, offering attractive packages with the highest placements reaching up to 10 lakhs per annum. A significant number of students secure placements within the campus.
