Admissions
For admission to the B.Sc. degree course in Nursing (Basic), candidates are required to have successfully completed their qualifying examinations (Academic Stream) up to the 12th standard, with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
Before being admitted to the course, each candidate must submit a certificate of medical fitness from an authorized Medical Officer to the institution’s principal, confirming their physical fitness to undertake the academic program.
Eligibility for admission is open to both male and female candidates who are unmarried and have reached the age of 17 years or above at the time of admission.
Additionally, candidates should hold registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or an equivalent certification from any State Nursing Registration Council.
The minimum educational requirement is the completion of B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
