Established in 2007, Kathir College of Education is a prestigious institution situated in Tamil Nadu. It is renowned for its distinctive undergraduate degree program in Teaching & Education, which is offered in full-time mode. The B.Ed course provided by Kathir College of Education aims to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in the field of teaching and education. Admissions
To be eligible for admission, candidates must have successfully completed their UG Degree examination in the 10+2+3 stream. If a candidate has pursued multiple main subjects in Part III of their U.G. degree (Double or Triple major), they must choose only one main subject and apply for the corresponding optional in the B.Ed. program.
Candidates who have completed their U.G. degree in Applied Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Applied Physics are eligible to apply for the Chemistry and Physics optional subjects, respectively, in the B.Ed. program. Similarly, those who have studied Environmental Science and Microbiology in their U.G. degree can apply for the Biology optional in B.Ed.
For eligibility criteria based on category, candidates from OC (Open Category) should have a minimum of 50% in the relevant UG Degree course. BC (Backward Class) candidates should have a minimum of 45%, MBC (Most Backward Class) candidates should have a minimum of 43%, and SC/ST (Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe) candidates should pass in the relevant UG Degree course. There is no age limit for admission.
