Course, Fees and Eligibility
Admissions
- A pass in the Plus Two examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Alternatively, candidates who have studied Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Mathematics are also eligible.
- Candidates must possess a B.Pharm degree from an Institute approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). A minimum aggregate score of 55% in graduation is required (50% for SC/ST candidates). Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified in GPAT 2016. Non-GPAT candidates may also apply, but their applications will be considered only after the GPAT-qualified applicants have been evaluated and interviewed (for further details, please refer to the selection procedure).
- Candidates who are appearing for the final examinations of their Bachelor’s programme or qualifying examination in 2016 are also eligible to apply. If selected, they can join the programme provisionally. During the interview/counselling, they must provide an original certificate from the Principal of their institution confirming the following:
- Completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
- Completion of the D.Pharm course from a PCI-approved institution.
- Any other qualification approved by PCI that is equivalent to the aforementioned qualifications.
