Course, Fees and Eligibility
Admissions
To be eligible for admission to the first year of the four-year B.E. degree course in Engineering, candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:
- Completion of the Higher Secondary Course (Academic) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
- Completion of the Higher Secondary Course (Vocational) in Engineering/Technology with one of the related subjects, along with Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry as a related subject.
- Possession of any other qualification deemed equivalent by Anna University. However, candidates must have obtained the minimum prescribed aggregate marks in the qualifying examination. Regardless of the qualifying examination passed, candidates must also have taken the entrance examination designed to assess their proficiency in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, following the standards prescribed for the plus two academic stream of the Tamil Nadu Board of Higher Secondary Education.
