For B.Tech admissions, candidates are required to submit their scores from the JEE Main exam of the respective year they are applying for. Additionally, a minimum aggregate of 45% in the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) is necessary.
B.Tech Lateral Entry admission is granted based on merit. The eligibility criteria depend on possessing a Diploma in the relevant area of Textile and Handloom or a B.Sc degree.
Admissions for PG Diploma programs are also merit-based, taking into account the scores obtained in either a three-year Diploma or a B.Sc degree in a relevant field. The selection process involves merit-based evaluation followed by counseling sessions conducted at IIHT Salem. Furthermore, students enrolled in the PG Diploma course may receive a stipend.
