Admissions
Admissions at Idhaya College of Arts and Science for Women are strictly based on merit, following the norms set by Pondicherry University. Special reservations are made for marginalized and reserved categories.
The processing of admissions for undergraduate programs commences after the announcement of higher secondary examination results, while the postgraduate admissions follow thereafter.
Upon result declaration, applicants must submit a hard copy of the application form, along with photocopies of their qualifying +1 and +2 marks statements, transfer certificate, PIC or community certificate, Aadhar card, and birth certificate. It is important to note that the submission of the application form alone does not guarantee admission.
The college offers a limited number of seats in the hostel, and applicants are advised to submit the hostel application along with the college application form. Admission to the college does not automatically guarantee admission to the college hostel.
Provisionally selected candidates will be notified via email or phone. These candidates, along with their parents, must attend an interview on the specified date and time mentioned in the interview card. They are required to bring along the original documents and a recent passport-sized photograph.
