Admissions
HKBK College of Engineering Bangalore offers a wide array of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs for admission. The college invites applications for B.E, B.B.A, B.C.A, B.Com, M.B.A, and Ph.D. programs. To secure admission in the B.E program, candidates must participate in the KCET entrance examination. After the results are declared, a merit list and cutoff are published to shortlist candidates for KCET counseling. Seat allotments during counseling are based on the candidates’ merit scores in the entrance test and qualifying exams.
For admission to the M.B.A program, HKBK College of Engineering Bangalore follows the KMAT selection process, where candidates are assessed based on their KMAT scores, as well as their performance in Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Prior to that, candidates must meet the cutoff to be eligible for KMAT counseling.
As for the Ph.D. program, candidates are required to take the VTU-ETR entrance exam and appear for an interview. However, candidates with qualifications like ADF/QIP/FIP/UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/CAT or possessing an M.Phil degree are exempted from the entrance test. Selection is made based on the merit scores in the entrance test and interview. Notably, candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks in the entrance test to be eligible for the interview.
