The Greentech College of Engineering for Women, also known as GCEW, was established in 2008 in Salem, Tamil Nadu. It is an AICTE-approved college affiliated with Anna University. The college’s primary objective is to empower women by offering higher education and value-oriented learning. GCEW boasts a team of dedicated and experienced faculty members who provide comprehensive training and education to students.
At GCEW, undergraduate courses in BE/B Tech are offered in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics, and Electronics & Communication Engineering. These courses have a duration of four years. Admissions to GCEW are based on the TNEA Counseling process. Candidates must qualify in the 10+2 examination with a minimum aggregate score, and admission decisions are made based on the marks obtained. The fees for the BE/B Tech program at GCEW are INR 40,000.

Greentech College of Engineering for Women (GCEW) exclusively provides undergraduate engineering programs (BE/B. Tech) for its students.
Admission to these programs is determined through TNEA counseling. To be eligible, candidates must have successfully completed their 10+2 education with a minimum aggregate score. Anna University will create a TNEA merit list based on the candidates’ 10+2 scores, and admission to Greentech College of Engineering for Women will be granted based on this merit list. To initiate the process, candidates are required to register online for TNEA counseling by accessing the official website.
