GITAM School of Business Bengaluru offers diverse academic programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. For aspiring students, the institute provides admissions to B.Com, B.B.A, M.B.A Integrated, M.B.A, M.Phil, and Ph.D. programs. To secure admission in B.Com, B.B.A, and M.B.A Integrated, candidates are required to take the UGAT/GITAM GAT or qualify in the GIM Online Test (GOT). Additionally, for B.Com and M.B.A Integrated courses, shortlisting is based on performance in the entrance exam, while B.B.A aspirants are selected through a multi-step process involving the entrance exam, group discussion, and personal interview.

For the M.B.A program, applicants must take the GITAM Admissions Test (GAT), unless they possess valid scores from MAT, GMAT, CAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, or NMAT, which would exempt them from the GAT. Shortlisted candidates then undergo a personal interview and assessment based on other qualitative parameters as part of the admission process.

In the case of admissions to M.Phil and Ph.D. programs, candidates need to appear for the Online Entrance Test – GURCET, followed by an interview. However, applicants with qualifications like UGC-NET (including JRF), UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF), ICMR, GATE, GPAT, SLET, or an M.Phil degree are exempted from the entrance test. The final selection is based on merit scores achieved in the online entrance test and performance in the interview.
